Moto G8 Plus available for purchase on Flipkart starting 12 PM today

Moto G8 Plus, Motorola's 8th generation of it's Mid-range G series smartphone for the year 2019 was launched in October 25. From today afternoon 12PM Moto G8 Plus is available for purchase Via Flipkart. The single 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant is priced at Rs.13,999 and comes with triple rear cameras. Let's see what the new Moto G8 Plus offers for the price

SPECIFICATIONS:

Display:
Speaking of display, Moto G8 Plus comes with 6.3 inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080X2280 and a pixel density of about 400 PPI. And this is a IPS LCD panel.I have no details regarding the what kind of glass protection this Moto G8 Plus have. i'll update that later if i get to know that.

Camera:
Moto G8 plus sports a triple rear camera setup with a 48 MP primary Samsung Isocell Bright GM1 sensor and a 16 MP secondary dedicated action camera. and a third 5 MP depth sensor. and a 25 MP selfie shooter.

Battery:
Moto9 G8 Plus is backed up by a 4000 mAh battery with support for Motorola's properitary 15W TurboPower fast charging. The turbo Power charger comes bundled with the retail apck. 15W isn't that powerful in this age but Motorola makes a serious claim of 8 hours usage with 15 mins charge. I don't know how do they claimed it but as a smartphone user we all knew it wqasn't true and i hate it when a company claims a claim like that.

Internal Specs:
Motorola G8 Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. Not Impressive to be honest. As there is only one variant , this device comes with a Internal storage of 64 GB and 4 Gb of LPDDR4 RAM.
The internal storage is upgradable via Micro Sd card upto 512 GB. Other features Include Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5 MM headphone jack and a USB type C port. Its good to see that smartphone makers started using USB Type-C ports even on their Budget devices. Which is a great  move by the way.

VERDICT:
Frankly speaking Motorola not gonna affect the Mid-range smartphone industry by any means, there are already a lot of powerful devices in the price segment. I don't think anyone gonna choose this Instead of Redmi Note 8 or Realme 5 series. Motorola once a very reputed Smartphone maker in India now just struggle to prove its existence in india. But as always Redmi and realme gonna have much  larger sales than that of Moto G8 plus. Lenono should focus to improve the Moto into a much reputable brand like before but instead they are using the brand name "Motoroa" and launching Not-So-good -devices
