In the last few weeks we heard that Microsoft is working on a cool new version of its Windows Operating system for a new device, Finally after some wait we get to know the answer. The New Operating system is the "Windows X" and the new hardware it was designed to is "Microsoft Surface Neo". Both the Microsoft Surface Neo and the Windows X was unveiled in the Annual Surface Launch event happened at New york City.
Microsoft haven't revealed much about the new Microsoft Surface Neo but Microsoft said it won't hit the markets until 2020, its good to see Microsoft is taking time to test its new system thoroughly and without spoiling its brand value. lets have a close look at what microsoft have revealed about the Microsoft Surface Neo so far.
Microsoft Surface Neo will have two 9 inch displays separated by a hinge, the two 9 inch displays combined to form a display of 13.1 inches in dimension. Speaking of the displays Microsoft mentioned that the display panels was the world's thinnest displays ever produced and it is said to connected by 60 coaxial cables which is thinner than human hair.because of the thin displays the entire hardware of Microsoft Surface Neo measures only 5.6mm. and the entire hardware weighs just 655 grams.
Speaking of the internals Microsoft haven't revealed anything regarding that. So far I think that it will be using Intel's latest lakefield generation Chipsets. Microsoft announced that it'll be selling keyboards for Microsoft Surface Neo if you dont wanna use one of the display for typing. so far this is what we knew,if we get to know anything further i'll update it here.
