WhatsApp finally started offering fingerprint lock option for it's Android users. This feature was available on iPhones for a long time now and the feature was expected for Android for quite a well. Finally after a long wait WhatsApp rolled out the update for everyone yesterday.
In iPhones you can use Touch ID (fingerprint) or Face ID (face unlock) but in Android you can only use fingerprint unlock for now, we can expect the face unlock feature in future. With the new feature you can lock and unlock WhatsApp with your fingerprint. So it'll add privacy to your chats.
To enable this feature you have to open WhatsApp and then Go-to Settings - Account- Privacy and the choose finger print lock.
You can choose the time interval for automatic locks, but for now only three time intervals are available, Immediately, after 1 mins or after 30 mins.
